Friday Night Mix 12/14/07 // New Music Player

Something new!! I just got the music player up and on the side bar to the right. So now you can preview anything new before you download for free. The most recent is always on the top of the list unless you press the play button and it makes its all random. Hmm i know the Friday night mix are strangely absent the last couple of weeks. Continuing problems with last.fm uploads and what not the last week have me really behind. I have had this mix ready for almost 3 weeks now but just no time to put it up until now. I finally got it up. The music was new 3 weeks ago and some of it now old but whatever! LISTEN UP!

Way Back Wednesdays

Since i started the blog later then ever--i have a huge number of mixes that are not posted here, so im starting Way Back Wednesdays, i will be posting mixes that are old and that i find good enough that i think someone should listen too. My style of music and what not had change over the last couple of years. So lets get started.

Einstein Ain't Got Nothin On Me

The Einstein mixtape was a B-boy mix that was made in the summer of 2004. Took one month to finish it. Half was finished Ohio and the rest was mixed in Washington State after i got back from summer vacation. Was my first mix that really gave out to people and stuff. The track list is filled with old school and modern breaks. The beginning of the mix was originally a short mix of Beastie Boys tracks that i later mixed into the rest of the mix that severed as an intro.

And after extensive searching of my mix files I found most of the tracklist. There are some that were unnamed and i don't care to find the forgotten named breaks... but there are some good ones in there.

So i had these little things laying around last week and decided to put them up just for little listening pleasure. Lets get started.

So im starting this blog not only to get my mixes out there but because i love sharing music with people. For so many years i have heard that same old crap. "this music is sucks"...i say get over yourself.....to you it maybe but i mix music for people that want to find new and better things other then the radio or force fed CD racks at Wal-Mart. Now im not saying those are bad, because music is music and we all have our personal taste. But as a DJ i look at it like this: I can share music with someone else or groups of people that never have heard of music im mixing and if they like it, then thats all that matters.

But whatever on to my point of this blog. Because i don't have the time to be a live DJ i work out of my room and the internet is my office. So here is where i will post all my mixes as soon as i can so you can listen....the more the better...
